Ceremony

Main Ceremony.  Spring Commencement is 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 18, 2012, on the Memorial Quad. It is open to the public and friends and families are welcome to attend. . Department Ceremony.  The Linguistics Department ceremony will be held 3:00 on Deschutes Lawn.   Regalia is not required, but encouraged.    Encourage your family and friends to bring cameras.  About 10 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony a department staff member will line up the graduates and faculty prior to the processional.

Regalia is purchased through UO DuckStore.  Their website also provides information about diploma frames, class rings, announcements, etc.  Website http://uoduckstore.com/students/graduation/.

Disability Services

The main and department ceremonies are wheelchair accessible.  The main ceremony will have someone doing sign language.  Should your guest(s) need additional assistance, contact Kathy Rasmussen and let her know so arrangements can be made ahead of time. There is a drop-off area for guests with disabilities near the Knight Library entrance.  Designated parking is available at hooded meters on Kincaid Street between 13^th and 15^th Avenues.

Parking

Parking may be tight.  Encourage your guests to arrive early.  Parking is available on nearby streets and in UO parking lots.  The closest university parking lot is on Kincaid Street between 13^th and 14^th Avenues.
